COVID-19 update

03/18/2020

To all our clients,

We have all been impacted by the stream of news and information about COVID-19, better known as Coronavirus. At South Lake Animal Hospital, the health and well being of our patients, clients, staff and community are our number one priority.

Due to the nature of our business, we are constantly disinfecting rooms and waiting areas. We are taking stricter measures of sanitation in order to provide you and your pets with a safe and healthy environment. To do this WE NEED YOUR HELP in order to minimize the spread of infection!!!!

It is ESSENTIAL that if you, or anyone you have been in contact with, have travelled in the past 2 weeks or are displaying any symptoms of COVID-19 (fever, cough, or shortness of breath, sore throat), to please call us from the car to discuss your needs. A staff member will come to your car to assist you and bring your pet into the building. The doctor can discuss treatment over the phone.

We are also taking the following precautions:

_Please use hand sanitizer provided as soon as you walk in the building

_Only one person per pet in the building

_No personal items will be kept for hospitalized patients (beds, blankets, toys)

_Please disinfect your pets carrier, leash and collar before bringing your pet

_Please respect the the “social distancing” recommendations and remember

we are a NO HAND SHAKE ZONE!!

Thank you for understanding and participation in minimizing the risk of spreading COVID-19. We all hope that this illness passes quickly and there is minimal impact in our community and beyond.

Sincerely,

Dr. Roberto O. Rodriguez
